THIS PAGE IS LOVINGLY DEDICATED TO ONE OF MY OWN SPECIAL, GODLY HEROES, FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES, EVANGELIST GARY MICHAEL CRUTCHFIELD, 57, WHO WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STAGE 4 LUNG CANCER ON JANUARY 21, 2011..  AND WHO WENT TO BE WITH OUR LORD ON MAY 12, 2011.

I WAS IN AWE OF THE LORD'S GREATNESS IN GARY.  HE NEVER COMPLAINED, EVEN WHEN THE SPIRIT OF FEAR WOULD MOMENTARILY TRY TO OVERWHELM HIM..  HE JUST SPOKE OF HIS 'SWEETEST MOMENTS', WHAT HE HAS WAITED FOR ALL HIS LIFE.  HIS ATTITUDE WAS THAT OF JESUS IN GETHSEMANE.. NOT MY WILL, BUT THINE,  AND HE EAGERLY LOOKED FORWARD TO THE CHARIOT OF FIRE THAT AWAITED HIM!

I DEARLY LOVED AND ESTEEMED THIS MULTI-GIFTED MAN OF GOD, AND I WISH TO SAY SO THE BEST WAY I KNOW HOW..

SO GARY, HERE'S TO YOU, SIR, YESSIR!
FOR A LIFE WELL-LIVED - AND LIKE OUR PRECIOUS LORD & SAVIOUR JESUS THE CHRIST - POURED OUT FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS.  I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU WITH GREAT FONDNESS, MY BROTHER, FOR YOU WERE A BRIGHT LIGHT, A PRECIOUS GIFT, A REWARD, AND I STILL PRAISE GOD, FOR HAVING PLACED YOU INTO MY LIFE.  WHAT A DIFFFERENCE YOU'VE MADE IN ALL OUR LIVES, SIR!  OUR SEASON TOGETHER WAS SHORT BUT POWERFUL, AND WE ALL LOVE AND MISS YOU AND YOUR OUTSTANDING SENSE OF HUMOR!

GARY'S LEGACY CAN BE FOUND IN HIS VOICE, LIKE THE ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, REPENT, AND BE SAVED!   GARY SHARED HIS MESSAGE THROUGH HIS GIFTED SONGWRTING, MUSICAL AND VOCAL TALENTS.   GARY WAS A DISABLED VET WHO ATTENDED NASHVILLE COWBOY CHURCH, WHERE HE WAS ALSO LICENSED AS AN EVANGELIST.

GARY'S WALK WITH CHRIST WAS AMAZING..  HE EMBODIED CHRIST'S LOVE.
HE IS SORELY MISSED. HIS DEPARTURE HAS LEFT A GAPING HOLE IN MY OWN LIFE AND MINISTRY, AND IN THE BODY OF CHRIST ON EARTH.  I WOULD ASK YOU TO KINDLY PRAY FOR THE LORD TO CAUSE THE SOLDIER ALREADY ASSIGNED, TO TAKE UP THE POSITION NOW, AND STAND IN THE GAP, SO THAT THE WOUND TO THE BODY MAY HEAL.

PLEASE KEEP DORTHEY, HIS BELOVED WIFE OF 34 YEARS, SON JOE, NIECE KIM, GREAT-NIECE OLIVIA, GREAT NEPHEW JORDAN, NIECE KAREN, GREAT NIECE ZOE, PARENTS HAROLD & FAYE, SISTER BEVERLY, BROTHERS MARK & JEFF, COUSIN "JIMBO" & OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS AND LOVED ONES CLOSE IN YOUR PRAYERS.

THANK YOU FOR VISITING AND LEAVING BEHIND YOUR FONDEST REMEMBRANCES OF
EVANGELIST GARY MICHAEL CRUTCHFIELD IN THE GUEST BOOK ABOVE.

Yours in Christ, Rev. Rhonda S. Galizia

Gary was proud of his Cherokee
heritage, and fought to live, as only a Valiant Warrior could.
Gary diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer
and suffering
Gary rallied, empowered by the Holy Ghost, to minister as the "Shepherd of our Little Flock"
when he officially became First Associate Minister to HE Writes the Words on My Heart! Ministry.

The last photo Gary ever sent me from his cell phone. He was able to go outdoors in a wheelchair at VA Hospital.  I prayed over him, read Scripture to him and sometimes sang softly to soothe him.
A true Soldier, Gary fought valiantly, believing for his healing unto the very end... and indeed, he IS now healed, for he is in the very Presence of our LORD!

The Red Birds (Cardinals) did come though.. a few days later.. and they came more plentifully than we had ever seen them before!   I know in my heart, that Gary is joyfully singing his own sweetest songs directly to the LORD now!

Beloved, there is no better way to describe love and light, than to reflect it from one's self.
Therefore, I present my co-laborer to you, for your own remembrance, with the highest degree of honor and respect intended.

And I, brothers, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
          1 Corinthians 2:1-5
What better way to remember
THE VOICE out of Tennesssee,
than to listen to him sing again!
Listen to your heart's content.
Someday, I hope to post the actual words to his songs, as I am a Scribe, Poet & Songwriter myself, and the value of the words is everything.
I discussed his songs with him many times
because of the powerful anointing he carried as a Songwriter. We shared an understanding of
The Christ through our gifts,
which the LORD used to cement us
 in ministry.

He who dwells in
the shelter of the
Most High,
who abides in the shadow of the Almighty,
will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress; my GOD
 in whom I trust."
Psalm 91:1

THANK YOU FOR VISITING  ~   MAY YOU BE BLESSED!
Beloved, though losing Brother Gary as our Shepherd has been a great loss, and we have grieved, the last thing he would want for us to do, is to continue to sorrow!  Please rejoice with me, knowing that Evangelist Crutchfield has personally heard the words, 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant; enter into the joy of thy Lord!'  We also have the sure confidence that we will see him again one day, for all Believers are members of One body!  I KNOW GARY IS THRILLED .. KNOWING THE TROOPS ARE COMING HOME!
Shalom, Rev. Rhonda

Gary's Charge
With all honor to The Lamb --

His weakened body was under attack;

Swelling threatened to close his ravaged throat;

Knowing the treatments would be too harsh,

He walked away, trusting the God of all hope!

Still, he stood by his post all thru the day,

And he guarded his sheep by dark of night.

His calling to shepherd God's flock was clear,

And inspired him not to give up the fight.

He encouraged the saints through exhorting,

And taught them from his Father's living Word.

He emptied his spirit of all but faith

And steadfastly held up the two-edged sword.

The power of God's Spirit within him

Was mightier than the foes who beset;

He spoke, as his people held him in prayer,

"Let go and let God, and you'll have no regret."

Lovingly written for Gary and his flock

I AM GONNA LIVE IN THAT CITY
Words & Music:  Gary Crutchfield

I have walked the lonely streets of sin and death,
Til one day I met Jesus along the way.
He took from me; all my guilt and shame,
And He is coming back; coming back for me,
Again one day!

I am gonna live in that city.
Where the living water flows.
I am gonna live in that city
Gonna walk those streets of gold.
I am gonna spend my eternity.
Singing praises to my Lord!
Yes! I am gonna live in that city.
When Jesus comes to take me home.

I keep looking to the clouds for His return
Just like the wise men, as they did, at Jesus' birth
I know that I can count on Jesus' every word
Yes!  He is coming back;
coming back for me again one day!

I am gonna live in that city
Where the living waters flow
I am gonna live in that city
Gonna walk those streets of gold.
I am gonna spend my eternity
Singing praises to my Lord!
Yes!  I am gonna live in that city!

One of the last things Ev. Gary told me was, "Watch for the Red Bird, Rev Rhonda." But all
I saw the day of his passing, were the sparrows gathered at the watering well.. And I knew, just as Gary believed, he was being sheltered in the Almighty's wing.. for it is written,' Not one sparrow falls to the ground apart from the Father..' There were seven sparrows..the number of completion.
