The magnificent magician
Works his magical-seeming ways,
He can change the world in a second
And He needs no wand to wave…..

There are no rabbits from a hat
No cards to pick and choose,
He does everything for the good
And needs no mention in the news.

But His way is not just for watching
Oh, no, He needs many volunteers,
To join in the midst of the activities
And follow Him down through the years.

And lo and behold we discover
He is not a magician after all,
He’s the glorious Savior of mankind
And we all need to heed His call!

EASTER BUNNY, BUT BECAUSE OF JESUS!

WAITING FOR EASTER BUNNY

Oh, Bunny, you are soft and sweet,
I love you so very much!
I love your long and silky ears
and your tail, so fluffy to touch.

Your little pink nose is twitching,
Do you smell chocolate candy?
If you would kindly share with me,
That would be fine and dandy!

But I must wait till Easter morn,
At least, that's what Daddy said,
'Cause that's when Jesus came alive
And got all better 'stead of dead.

Now, Bunny, please don't forget me,
Fill my basket to the top.
I'll try hard to be patient
'till I hear your hippety-hop!

"Fix these words of Mine in your hearts and minds . . .Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk . . . when you lie down and when you get up . . ."
(God's instructions to parents in Deuteronomy chapter 11)

Let The Blood of Jesus

Blood dripped down from His
wounded hands,

outstretched for all to see.

It stained the wood on which
He hung

as it trickled down that tree.

Let the blood from Jesus' wounds
fall on me.

Let His blood wash away
each guilty stain,

flowing down into my heart,

giving me a brand new start

as forgiveness covers me
like falling rain.

Blood ran down from
His wounded feet,

cruelly nailed to the cross.

His blood told of the
dying King

Who came to save the lost.

Too precious was the
blood that flowed

to soak into the ground,

but I was standing there that day

in sin and sorrow bound,

and as the blood began to fall

in droplets all around,

He drew me to His loving heart,

where sweet salvation I found.

Let the blood from Jesus' wounds
fall on me.

Let His blood wash away
each guilty stain,

flowing down into my heart,

giving me a brand new start

as forgiveness covers me
like falling rain.

"The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin."

1 John 1:7

Portrait of A Savior

Hands once raised in supplication
Pierced with nails of cruelty
Knees that knelt before the Father
Rendered helpless on a tree

Brow once knit in concentration
Wanting naught but Father's will
Bleeding from a thorny crown
Bowed to love's directive still

Feet that walked on dusty pathways
Leading Him to destiny
Now wounded, torn and crippled
Stained with blood at Calvary

This, a picture of my Savior
Forsaken and alone was He
Beaten, suffering, crushed and dying,
Jesus hung upon that tree

Burden of all mankind's sin
Held Him there in agony
Magnificent, His tender heart
Stilled by love for you and me

But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5, NIV

He Is Worthy!

When every boasting tongue is silenced
And saints are gathered 'round God's throne . . .
When the holy hush is broken
By the sweetest praise ever known . . .
Please, may I stand in the back row
As the music rises and falls . . .
As heavenly creatures with angels sing,
And the Lamb of Glory reigns over all!

Just let me stand in the background
As all heaven echoes His song.
I'll tremble in awestruck wonder
As the ten-thousands sing along.
Lift my soul to exalt the Son,
Who alone is worthy of praise,
And loosen my tongue that I, too, may sing,
Giving glory to the Ancient of Days!

He lives forever . . He's worthy!
He's alive, though once He was slain.
He buried our sins forever,
Redeemed by His blood. Amen!
He's worthy to open the scroll . . .
All kneel and honor our King!
He alone is Creator.. Savior .. Lord . . .
In adoration, to the Lamb we'll sing!

Revelation 5:11-13 King James Version (KJV)
11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the  beasts and the
elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom,
and strength, and honour, and glory and blessing.
13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the
sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that
sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

All honor and glory to the risen King. . .

The Great Day

He suffered at the hands of men whose souls He came to save,
In foolishness they all would jeer, would send Him to His grave.
They heard His words, all full of love, His teachings for their good
But they would not listen even though He gave all that He could. . .

Now we all know why He came to earth, to save us all from death,
And how He taught and showed us all until His very last breath.
We know He arose then in glory, after suffering and dying for us,
And how do we respond to Him, where do we place our trust?

There never was a greater day in the history of mankind
Than that first Easter long ago. like new sight to the blind.
Jesus' glory shining forth for all is our life saving news,
Because of Him we all can share in God's eternal truth.

We spend our days in foolish cares, and when plans fail we're sadder.
We worry and regret so much those schemes that do not matter.
When all is said and done, at last, one thing should rule our lives;
Not fame or fortune, nothing else, on God's truth we should thrive.

The happiness we find on earth is fleeting, we all know,
We cannot find our real fate in this life here below.
Keep your eyes fixed on the LordBe faithful to the very end,
In perfect joy with Jesus the Christ, eternity you can spend.

INTO YOUR HANDS

“-Into your hands I commend My spirit,”
Were the words of our Lord on the cross,
Thy will be done, taught the holy one
When asked, how do we pray………

Can we ever hope to imitate
His precious, selfless ways on earth,
His actions speaking volumes here
To give us all a real rebirth……

Lord, we love Your blessed truth
Guiding us all along life’s path,
Rescuing and saving us
From the unbelievers’ wrath.

Thank You, Jesus, precious Lord
In You we have found our way,
No other owns the answer
You alone are the truth today.

Today and always, evermore
We hold fast to a life in You,
Thank You, praise You, and
All glory to Your name is due.

Our poor, feeble hearts fall short
We cannot fully return Your love,
Overwhelming as it is
You reign forever and ever above.

God be with you,

HAPPY EASTER

An ugly crown for a glorious king,
The cross on his shoulder weighed him down
His passion for our sake would bring…..

The gift of salvation to those who accept
The glory of seeing in heaven his face,
On Easter morning the alleluias ring
Once more we celebrate grace upon grace.

THE FINAL WORKS OF TED RUTKOSKIE

March 20, 2015

Yes, you know me . . .
from the small town . . .
Thinking I could do nothing at all,
But He teaches if we'll learn.
The whole world's saving
can be open to His call.

He came from a small town . . .
unremarkable it appeared . . .
But really was straight from His Father
and by the whole world
to be revered

Do not look down
on any man's appearance . . .
It's all very easy to do . . .
But look to his heart, God-given,
and love him, just as Jesus
always loves you.

To listen to the sound of His Word
is calming to our hearts
What we are hearing stays in us
and somehow becomes a part

Listening to more sounds of the world
can drag us down, make us gloomy
But somehow the gentle words of Jesus
help to calm the fury.

A family that lasts
is a family who prays
and knows the Lord is listening
every single day.

Those who care and thus believe,
are always welcomed
by the Savior.
no matter what the wound
we can know,
The Savior's open arms are there,
saying Hello.

The kindness of our Teacher shows
thru the many others,
The ones who care
so many ways,
are not so rare.

They're all around
and touching us
in every kindly act,
And it's all because
of Jesus' love --
That's the fact.
